Between work, family, social commitments, and trying to find a little personal time for yourself, event planning can quickly become another full-time job.

My goal is to make the planning process enjoyable, organized, and stress-free. I handle the research, coordination, and logistics so that you can focus on making decisions and enjoying the experience. I navigate, organize, and present the options—you review and choose. Together, we create a seamless planning experience that allows you to enjoy everyday life while bringing your dream event to life.

Over the years, I have spent countless hours researching exceptional venues, event designs, and trusted vendors throughout our region. I have personally interviewed hundreds of industry professionals and developed a comprehensive list of carefully vetted vendors who consistently deliver outstanding service and value. This ensures that you have access to some of the very best resources available for your special day.

My name is Sonia, and I am the Owner and Lead Planner of Dauphine Weddings & Events.

On a personal note, I am blessed with a wonderful family that I cherish deeply, including my two beloved dogs, Maddie and LuLu, a Yorkie mix and a Maltese. My son is now grown and attending college, so while there are no more toddlers running around the house, I still treasure every opportunity to celebrate birthdays, showers, holidays, and other meaningful family gatherings together.

I also appreciate and embrace cultural diversity. My first language is English, but I speak French and Spanish well enough to assist many clients, and I work alongside a business partner who is fluent in French for clients planning cultural celebrations and events. In my free time, I enjoy anything related to the Arts, such as ballets, plays, opera, and exhibits.

Professionally, I have worked in the events industry for several years and have dedicated my career to creating unforgettable experiences. Clients hire me because they want a well-organized, beautifully executed wedding or milestone event that reflects their vision while minimizing stress.

In addition to my degree in Art and Design, certified in Wedding Planning, Event Design, and Travel Planning for destination events, I am also a 'Certified Master Event Planner' through a New York-based institute.

I am proud to be a member of the Association of Bridal Consultants and honored to be respected among my industry peers. Several of my weddings have been featured on The Knot, including venue cover features that showcased the creativity and attention to detail behind each celebration.

My passion lies in transforming ideas into extraordinary events. I have developed a keen eye for detail and love incorporating thoughtful touches that create memorable experiences for both you and your guests. From managing logistics to solving challenges behind the scenes, I enjoy bringing all the pieces together so you can be fully present and enjoy every moment.
